William (Bill) Maki has recently retired after more than 32 years at the Dow Corning Corporation in Midland Michigan. Bill joined Dow Corning in 1985 after completing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
His roles at the Dow Corning Corporation included working in Manufacturing, Process and Product Development, and Capital Engineering. He had supportive roles in Product Stewardship, Chlorosilane Customer Auditing, Contract Manufacturing, and Hazardous Material Shipping. He also served on the Safety and Operating Committee of the Silicones Environmental, Health and Safety Council.
Bill has his Professional Engineer license with the State of Michigan.
